Serge Fdida and Theodoros Tsourdinis from Ssorbonnee University they discuss their experience deploying and using Aether for SLICES, a joint investment project between the European commission and 15 member states and 25 organizations. SLICES is creating an open, flexible distributed networking platform based upon Aether and OAI to support large-scale, experimental research focused on network protocols, radio technologies, services, data collection, parallel and distributed computing and cloud and edge-based architectures and services.
