SLICES-SC project is a collaborative project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101008468.

This privacy policy will explain how our project uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.

What data do we collect?

In the framework of SLICES-SC project, when necessary and for the purpose of the project’s activities, we will collect, from you, personal identification information such your Name, email address and organisation.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide SLICES-SC project with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Contact us through the website contact form or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Register and participate to the events organised by the project.
  • Participate to the surveys promoted by the project.

We may also receive your data indirectly from the platforms and websites hosting the project’s events and surveys, such as, but not limited to ZoomLivestorm or the project’s partners websites or servers.

How will we use your data?

The data collected in the framework of the project will be useful in order to:

  • Inform you, via email, about the project’s news (e.g. newsletters, new events).
  • Send you the link to the surveys or events organised by the project.

If you agree, we will share your data with the project’s partners, signatories of the Grant Agreement, and listed on the project website.

How do we store your data?

SLICES-SC website is hosted at University of Thessaly (Argonafton & Filellinon, 38221 Volos, Greece) where your data are securely stored.

As coordinator of SLICES-SC project, part of your data may also be securely stored at Sorbonne University (4, Place Jussieu, 75005, Paris, France).

Your data will be kept during SLICES-SC duration (until 31 August 2024) and will be deleted at the end of the project.

What are your data protection rights?

We, as SLICES-SC consortium, would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request SLICES-SC project for copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that SLICES-SC project correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request SLICES-SC project to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that SLICES-SC project erase your personal data, under certain conditions. If you want to request it, please contact dpo-slices-sc@npafi.org.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that SLICES-SC project restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to SLICES-SC project processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that SLICES-SC project transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
